These are some of the boats I have designed over the years. Most have made it from the drawing board to some sort of production. Some have been built only once. I can make any boat with a mix of ideas or features from any of these boats.

Big Recurve Skiff
The next evolution of the skiff came about as an effort to increase the legroom that results from the usually flat front end of most skiffs. My idea was to take the same floor plan of my Freestone Skiff and widen it slightly and make it slightly longer by adding my rounded transom to the downstream end. It turned out as my favorite boat to fish from and works very well. Still very light at 275 lbs, it floats very high, is low profile and easy to get in and out of, has full length rod holders and the three pedestals provide walk around access front and back. $16,000 complete -
Small Recurve Skiff
This is a small Recurve Skiff I built for a customer about 4 years ago who wanted a car toppable small boat for small lakes and streams. It ended up being about 80 lbs, 3' wide and 10' long. Not suitable for standing up while moving it nevertheless rows quite well and seats two adults. $7400 complete. No plans available. -
Kingfisher
The Kingfisher is the boat I originally built to accommodate full length rod storage. It enables the storage of up to four rods in slots along the side of the dry storage compartments. The rods simply sit on a shelf and may be accessed from either the front or back or from the rowers seat. The large side storage compartments allow bulky items to be stored securely. Pedestal seating allows free movement throughout the boat. $18,000.00 complete -
Recurve
The Recurve is a 16' hull (straight line)and carries up to four adults. It is the same hull as the Kingfisher but with gently curved and lowered sides to allow easier entry. The Recurve is $22,000.00 complete which includes kevlar composite hull, any color finish, all wood hatches, steam bent wooden seats, full fleece lined cover, separate front end bra, custom built heavy duty nickel powder coated trailer with galvanized wheels, spare tire and tongue jack. Modifications or substitutions may be ordered which may affect price. -
Rowboats
Rowboat, Seattle. Built for a customer who wanted a rowboat that could be used to fish from on the coast, this hull, the Penobscot 17', was designed by Arch Davis and I modified the interior slightly to accommodate a standing fisherman. -
